Honey and how it heals

We have all heard that honey is great for that sore throat or a bad cold but it doesn’t end there. Honey has been shown to have many healing properties including wound care, burn treatment, immune boosting properties and much more.

Honey isn’t the only product that comes from the hive that has the ability to help our body heal. Have you heard of Royal jelly, propolis and bee pollen? all of these products have some pretty amazing health benefits that deserve some serious attention. Come spend the afternoon with me exploring all that the hive has to offer (which is a lot) I have seen some pretty amazing result with using hive products in my day to day life and am passionate about sharing this knowledge with others. During the class we will explore all that the hive has to offer.  How these bee products are produced/collected by the bees, how they are harvested and how we can use them in our daily lives.

The kitchen series

A series of classes that focuses on Learning practical skills and creating community.

Growing up the kitchen was always the place to be and not just for the food that came out of it. But for the connection that it created. We were and still are that family that connects over food and congregates in the kitchen. More times then not you will see us visiting together someone leaning on the counter or sitting at the island.

I love the idea of teaching skills in the intimate environment of the kitchen, I love that it is personal and nurturing.

I am really excited to be collaboration on this series with Amy from Tiny Springs Farm. It’s going to be seriously AWESOME click Here for more info.
